1956 Studebaker President

This beautiful 1956 Studebaker President belongs to Ron Engle, of Grand Forks, ND. It won 1st place in it's division at the Valley Vintage Car Club show in Fargo this fall. This picture does not do it justice. It is an excellent looking car (way to go Ron)!

1953 Starliner

Here is a picture of my pride and joy, my 1953 Champion Starliner coupe. Its colors are Vienna Blue and Ivory Mist. Its my first Studebaker, and my favorite. I bought it as the result of a contact made during the Roughrider Chapter Annual Memorial Day Meet in Minot (during a snowstorm of course) in 1992. I bought it sight unseen, but the owner/restorer (Sam Kaban, Winnipeg, who attends our annual meets when they are in Minot) had the album of the restoration and the deal was made at the meet (I wasn't yet a member of SDC). Since that first purchase, I have bought (and drove as a daily driver during the summer) and sold a 1962 GT Hawk, the proceeds of which I used to buy my 1964 Avanti (which is becoming a money pit as I seek to improve its condition, while I use it as a daily driver during the summer). - Jay Buringrud
