 Just cannot get away from the river, the kids and Duke explore the banks after a rain and the river starts to flow.

I used to be able to outrun Duke but as he grows and his speed increases he catches up to me too quickly, the windmill offers a little protection and some recovery time.

During the hot days of August 1998 Duke has learned that the coolest spot is right over the air conditioning vent.  Here he lies on his favorite vent by the kitchen table where food is just a steal away!!
